You will have the opportunity to work with a broad range of technical tools, languages, and methodologies, broadening your skills and technical competencies. In addition, you will regularly communicate with our customers and partners.

As a Software Engineer, career development and ongoing training are key parts of your growth. You will start to take more responsibility for your own career and technical development, whilst still being supported through regular meetings with your peers.

Repsonsbilities:

• Implementing full-stack software solutions including design, development, and testing.
• Working to Agile methodologies including SCRUM & Kanban practices, supporting colleagues as required.
• Using a wide range of technologies, specialising in the use of open-source libraries and components.
• Using tools such as GitLab to build continuous integration pipelines, which help monitor and ensure software quality and security.
• Deploying software systems to a mixture of environments including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud.

• Organising and maintaining documentation of application development and revisions
• Engaging with our customers at scheduled checkpoints
• Ensuring your knowledge and professional development keeps pace with an everchanging technology landscape

We take great pride in taking care of our talent, providing a highly dynamic, inclusive and team-led environment where everyone can thrive. We value every member of our business, and strive to be a place you’re excited to work.

IIG has the culture and feel of a small business, paired with the benefits of our position in a much larger organisation. We offer a great L&D package including up to 5 days external training, a career coach and guilds to share innovation and learning. We also offer self-directed career progression, that fosters opportunities for success for us and our business.
