About us:

We are the Information Intelligence Group (IIG) of CACI UK, a specialist software consultancy providing new bespoke solutions to solve complex operational problems.

Responsibilities will Include:

  • Drafting technical Statements of Requirements for networks, applications and platform solutions

  • Defining and assessing technical architectures, solutions & business requirements

  • Production of high- and low-level technical designs & high level operating model designs

  • Providing consultancy support to customers, assisting them with technology choices and solutions to complex problems

  • Using a wide range of technologies, specialising in the use of open-source libraries and components

  • Deploying software systems to a mixture of environments including public (AWS and Azure) and private cloud

  • Managing relationships with our customers

  • Ensuring your knowledge and professional development keeps pace with an everchanging technology landscape

  • Providing leadership and support to delivery team members as required

The Fit:

Applicants will have experience working on Defence based projects and have delivered solutions within a consultancy environment. You will ideally have exposure to;

  • Contemporary software engineering including selection and application of appropriate technology and patterns
  • Working with teams developing full-stack solutions
  • Defining, installing, or supporting networking solutions
  • DevOps and the techniques which enable IT - including virtualisation, containerisation, CI/CD and IaC
  • Working with high-level stakeholders, both internally and externally
  • Working in agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban.
