Product Director, Events and Marketing Services

 


LOCATION: 4 Bouverie Street, London.

2 Office days per week mandatory. Monday and Tuesday. Remote 3 days a week with occasional need for attendance on other days and attendance at events

 The Role:

Join our dynamic events team and be the key player in driving delegate attendance and revenue for our outstanding events. You'll be responsible for contacting senior executives from Underwriters, brokers, claims administrators and service providers, showcasing the value proposition of our conferences, and converting them into registered delegates.

 


What you'll Do:

Sell, Sell, Sell! Achieve and exceed sales targets for upcoming events through engaging phone conversations.
Become an Event Expert: Gain in-depth knowledge of our events' content and benefits to effectively convey their value to prospects.
Prospect Like a Pro: Utilize sales tools to identify and qualify high-potential leads.
Collaborate for Success: Share audience insights with the marketing and production teams to continuously improve event offerings and sales strategies.
Continuous Learning: Attend training sessions to stay up-to-date on industry trends and refine your sales techniques.

 


You're a perfect fit if you have/are:

The ability to talk – a lot: Fluency in English is essential as week as a learned fluency in Insurance jargon
Proven Track Record: A university degree and experience in B2B sales, ideally within the events industry.
Outbound calling experience: Confidence and a successful history of cold calling in a commercial environment.
Executive engagement: Comfort and skill in communicating with senior leaders over the phone.
Target driven: A commitment to achieving and exceeding sales goals.
A global mindset: Ability to work with flexible hours to accommodate international calls.
Tech-Savvy: Familiarity with CRM systems like Salesforce, Dynamics, or Hubspot as a daily tool essential
Strong negotiation: Deal-closing skills to convert leads into attendees.
Known for relationship building: The ability to develop lasting partnerships with clients.
Data driven: You will need to keep track of your pipeline, leads and audience feedback so we can maximise your sales strategies.
