Night Trunk Driver

THE ROLE: 

HGV Class 1 Driver – Trunks | Full Time - Nights | Newbury

Our drivers are one of the most important roles within EV Cargo, and as a fully qualified Class 1 Driver, you will have the important role of delivering our consignments to and from our hub., whilst being safe and taking care of yourself on the road.

THE SALARY:

£45 402.36

LOCATION:

This role will be based at our site in Newbury.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITES: 

• Driving our Double deck trailers to and from our hub.
• Ensure health and safety standards are adhered at all times

OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:  

Qualifications. Class 1 Driving Licence.

Experience. Previous experience is essential.  Refrigeration and multi drop experience would be beneficial. Will have completed a CPC Training Course and have a strong geographical and logistical knowledge.

Communication. You will have good communication skills, spoken and written.

Influence & Persuasion. Build good working relationships with work colleagues and our customers. 

Planning & Organisation. You will be adaptable in your start and finish times depending on requirements.
