Purpose of the job

As the Account Manager you will work closely with different Life Sciences clients in Benelux and France to deliver print services to a professional level, whilst developing that client relationship further on process standardization, product re-engineering, tailored sourcing strategy and in-depth service.  The position is client facing, with on-site activities in Benelux region and close contact with our office in Diegem. You will be part of a broader team, developing and maintaining a strong relationship with key client stakeholders at all levels.   

As Account Manager, you will co-operate intensively with our broad supplier base and will be required to negotiate costings and timescales for each job and selecting the most appropriate supplier to fulfil our client’s needs. Additionally, you will introduce and implement standard WOW’s to drive efficiency throughout the entire process. 

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Provide technical input and advice on print projects as required 
  • Propose most optimal solutions and specifications for Print and POS material 
  • Take briefs from the client including full specification details and manage from start to finish 
  • Monitor projects to ensure they are delivered to specification and on time  
  • Ensure activity is recorded using the designated company tools  
  • Suggest alternative options and innovation where possible 
  • Deliver a high level of customer service to meet and exceed contracted SLA’s 
  • Implement new methods and procedures as required  
  • Work as a team to help deliver contractual requirements, complete necessary account admin and reporting 
  • Work with the Account Director to identify new business opportunities 
  • Ensure compliance with Regulatory and Company policies

 

 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience 

 

  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with strong time management and prioritisation skills 
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines, with a good sense of humour and professional approach 
  • Has technical print knowledge with detailed understanding of different techniques 
  • Approachable and confident to offer advice in meetings 
  • Able to manage and communicate with key client stakeholders to successfully deliver and exceed their expectations 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office and Google Apps is preferred but not essential 
  • Knowledge of Dutch, French and English 
  • Experience in a client facing role is essential 
  • Experience in liaising directly with clients and advising on campaign print and POS is preferred 
  • Experience in troubleshooting unexpected project issues and implementing preventative measures is preferred 
  • Previous experience working in print/ print management/ print buying/ marketing print procurement essential
