Purpose of the Job

The Regional Account Director is responsible for the development and nurturing of key HH Global clients.  In this instance a portfolio of Life Science clients across EMEA.  This role is essential in strengthening relationships with the client, identifying growth opportunities for the business as well as ensuring solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets.  The Regional Account Director will lead our dedicated client team in delivering innovative marketing materials including print, POS, promotional items and digital solutions.

The Regional Account Director will take full responsibility for the strategic and operational management of the account taking a hands-on approach to creating and delivering solutions. Having the acumen to grow and develop the relationship and build the team as the account develops.

This individual needs to be a strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategic direction of the account, balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective operational plans.

 

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation and delivery of HH Global’s regional account strategy for the client
  • Develop strong relationships with senior key stakeholders across the client organisation
  • Ensure that the contract is managed in line with our contractual responsibilities
  • Manage overall financial performance of the account, risk analysis and remedy
  • Lead operational delivery for the client across key categories
  • Drive innovation and product development to bring world class solutions to the most demanding of clients. Motivating your team to meet and exceed expectations of a true market leader.
  • Identification of new business opportunities and responsibility for the delivery of account growth 
  • Provide regular MI reporting and production of account relationship plans of the highest quality
  • Produce client communications documents to the highest standard to be consumed / presented at C level within the client organisation e.g. strategic reports, QBRs.
  • Ensure that activities comply with the Company’s policies and procedures
  • Operate effective two-way communication with a regional team within a matrix management environment
  • Build successful partnerships with the client business leads and key decision makers; provide on-going strategic insights and revised solutions/recommendations based on the changing market dynamics and industry trends.
  • Continuously refine and improve the creative and production solutions, evaluate spend to maximize capabilities and drive value in the relationship from both an economic and service level perspective
  • Shape the overall account structure and team that will excel in the ideation, sourcing, procurement, production, and execution of all client projects.
  • Build successful partnerships with the client business leads and key decision makers to increase and expand revenue by identifying opportunities and proposing solutions
  • Responsible for staffing decisions, ensuring the account is properly resourced and seasonal peaks are anticipated and staffed appropriately.
  • Train, mentor and work closely with the Account Management team.
  • Drive performance accountability and assume responsibility for overall management of the account; ensure the client team is providing superior customer service.

 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

•    Knowledge of outsourced procurement solutions for marketing execution
•    Ability to analyse complex operational, financial, spend and product data and present this to the client with confidence and develop strategies under-pinned by high quality data.
•    Leadership capability to motivate a dedicated client team, i
•    Knowledge and experience of working within creative production and procurement
•    Ability to think strategically in order to develop a clear customer account plan, with the capability to manage and implement across markets including employee development and mentoring.
•    Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to interface with all levels of professionals.
•    Entrepreneurial minded with an innovative and creative mindset.
•    Highly proficient with MS Office software.
•    Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or equivalent work experience.
•    English language is essential for this role
•    There is a requirement to travel internationally.
•    Excellent strategic customer account management in a related sector.
•    Excellent direct client interfacing experience.
•    Experience working with clients across multiple international markets
