NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting for a Contract (Working) Supervisor to join a prestigious new contract in the London Bridge area, delivering reactive and planned mechanical, electrical and building fabric maintenance for one of the world’s biggest financial and professional services institutions .

The Contract
(Working) Supervisor will provide proactive line management and technical ‘hands on’ support to a dedicated team of Technicians, whilst providing an effective customer interface to the Client and their Service Partners, to ensure a high standard of both service delivery and customer care to all building staff and stakeholders within a true ‘One Team’ culture. The successful candidate with also manage our specialist contractors, ensuring adherence to NG Bailey Facilities Services systems and procedures, health and safety, quality assurance and statutory compliance.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

  • Lead your team in provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking ownership and delivering corrective action and where necessary, escalating to the Contracts Manager.
  • Managing service delivery via clearly defined contract metrics (KPI/SLA) in line with agreed contractual responsibilities.
  • Provide first line management and leadership to a contract dedicated team, setting team objectives and undertaking individual performance management reviews, .
  • Undertake risk assessments and safety audits in line with relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey Health and Safety systems and procedures.
  • Provide support in managing commercial processes such as creating quotes and Work In Progress (WIP) reviews
  • Manage, focus and drive specialist supply chain aprtners for efficiency, technical excellence, and opportunity for providing added value in their service delivery
  • Become part of OOH support / escalation as required (rota)

 

What we’re looking for:

We are looking for an experienced, innovative and energetic Supervisor that has led a team of engineers / shift engineers in a building services environment, carrying out PPM's in line with SFG20 or equivalent with advanced fault finding diagnostic experience.

  • Capable of delivering Reactive Repairs and Small Projects, including ‘hands on’ support
  • Be a confident, effective communicator
  • Experienced in Statutory & Mandatory Compliance Maintenance Records / Certification requirements and uploading onto Service Systems.
  • City and Guilds Qualifications or above covering Electrical/Mechanical or Multi-Skilled – Other formal qualifications also considered.
  • Safe systems of Work Procedure - PTW, RAMS, etc.
