Summary

We have a fantastic opportunity for Site Engineer (Site Manager) to join our team working on a major project at Manchester Airport valued in excess of £100M. This involves the refurbishment of the existing terminal 2 on the site with a new construction of a departure pier.

The right candidate for this role will have either a Mechanical bias that will to effectively manage and monitor the safety performance, resource deployment and productivity of all site based activities for the project.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include:

• Review the project scope of works, including installation methods, to ensure the precise provision of the customer’s requirements, whilst maximising efficiency and profitability.
• Contribute to the production of and lead the delivery of the project programme, carrying out associated duties in accordance with the Supervisor Responsibility Matrix.
• Understand the financial and commercial objectives within your area of control and ensure that the delivery of the engineering solutions is managed and that installation is deployed in a way that achieves these objectives.
• As required, provide accurate and timely information to project management for inclusion in both site progress and financial reporting templates.
• Be accountable for the effective management of all direct and indirect frontline workforce including T2 and T3 supervision within a specific project or designated area of control. Deploy a high level of engagement and communication to maximise team performance, setting clear expectations, cascading company messages, offering guidance and feedback to maximise the performance of the team and ensure objectives are met.
• Maintain regular dialogue and positive relationships with the project customer through the efficient delivery of project objectives.
