Full Time

Salary £45K - £50k with additional overtime + Flexible Benefits

Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services are looking for a qualified Electrician with installation experience. The applicant would be expected to work across London on various portfolios carrying out installation works for the NG Bailey Project team.

 

The Installation Electrician will need to be flexible and will be expected to work various shift patterns inclusive of days, nights and weekends as required (Premium rates will be paid for nights and weekends). Works will involve installing new LED Lighting, Installation of Power Supplies, Installation of Containment systems etc. 

 

The above works will be required to take place within live buildings such as Offices, Shopping Centres, Commercial Buildings so the applicant will need to be courteous as client liaison will be required.

 

The above works are generally carried out on sites that NG Bailey provide the site Facilities Services on. Sporadically the applicant may be required to assist with the Electrical Maintenance on these sites.

 

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: 

  • Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.
  • Develop excellent working relationships with our client their staff or appointed representative through good customer service.
  • To ensure that all applicable site documentation is kept up to date.
  • Create and issue NIC-EIC Test Certification following all works
  • Work as part of a collaborative team and assist where necessary and required so that all contractual obligations are met.
  • Occasionally assist with supervision of sub-contractor works ensuring compliance and adherence to applicable H&S standards.
  • Liaise directly with the onsite FM Team and other service partners so that a collaborative working relationship is formed.
  • Working hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

 

What we’re looking for:

An experienced Electrician that can carry out Electrical Installation works to a high standard within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service.

 

You will hold current qualifications to work as an Install Electrician including;

  • Qualified Gold Card Electrician with Electrical City & Guilds Part 1 and 2 or NVQ 3
  • Previous experience in Electrical installation works.
  • Capable of undertaking Electrical installation works with minimal supervision

 

DESIRABLE:

  • Install Electrician to be a JIB Graded Approved Electrician
  • Testing & Inspection City & Guilds 2391 Qualification
  • 18th Edition 
  • ANP Trained / Approved
  • IPAF Licence 
  • SSSTS or SMSTS Qualification
  • First Aid trained.
  • PASMA
  • IOSH Working / Managing Safely
