Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services have an exciting new opportunity for a Maintenance Engineer (Mechanical), to provide a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial environment at The Wilton Centre, Redcar.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: 

• Ensure work is undertaken in line with specific method statements & risk assessments and relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey health and safety systems and procedures.
• Provide excellent service delivery by ensuring PPM tasks and reactive works are completed within contractual Service Level Agreement’s to meet KPI’s.
• Demonstrate appropriate Health & Safety knowledge to ensure safe delivery of all work.
• Ensure that all Operational activities are carried out in Compliance with internal regulations and external Legislation governing the Business Operations.
• Capable of working without assistance and managing Reactive Works & Small Projects carried out by others.
• The working hours are Monday - Thursday 0800-1630 Friday 0800-1530, NO ON CALL - O/T is Available

What we’re looking for:

An experienced Mechanical Technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service this is a role for you.

You will hold current qualifications to work as a Mechanical engineer including;

• Completed a recognised Mechanical Apprenticeship -preferable
• NVQ Level 2-3 (Mechanical Discipline e.g. Heating and Ventilating 6018) OR City and Guilds (Mechanical Discipline)
• And be conversant with Electrical / Mechanical Plant related Building Services PPM's carried out in line with SFG20 and resulting Reactive Work
• Competent working knowledge of Air Handling Unit’s, Building Management Systems, Air Conditioning equipment, Cold Water systems, Heating and Ventilation systems, Water Treatment and Emergency Generators
