Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services are currently recruiting an experienced Foot Mobile Engineer (Electrical or Mechanical) to work in the UK Headquarters and surrounding buildings on behalf of an American multinational technology company that specializes in consumer electronics, computer software, and online services. The world's largest technology company by revenue and, since January 2021, the world's most valuable company

You will be responsible for undertaking reactive & planned maintenance works to Electrical/Mechanical plant & associated equipment within the location mentioned in the above.
This includes installation, servicing and repair of a range of plant & equipment.

You will be covering clients in multiple sites within short commuting distance of each other in Central London.

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: 

  • Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM), Reactive Maintenance and extra works/emergencies in accordance with the contract requirements on Mechanical Services and associated systems
  • A key success factor in the Technicians role is communication, particularly in reporting plant problems / failures that may impact on the clients business.
  • Carry out PPM in accordance with set schedules, ensuring engineering standards are maintained in order to maximise the operational effectiveness and reliability of the Plant and associated systems.
  • Be proactive with regard to preventative maintenance and good site husbandry.
  • Repairs of electrical and mechanical systems, controls and associated systems
  • Monday to Friday 0800-1700 – Will be expected from time to time to go on a on call rota

What we’re looking for:

An experienced electrical or mechanical technician working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) within a commercial occupied environment and with the utmost regard for customer service this is a role for you.

 You will hold current qualifications to work as an Foot Mobile Engineer including;

  • Completed a recognised Electrical or Mechanical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential)
  • NVQ level 2 or 3 or equivalent qualification in Electrical or Mechanical
  • 18th Edition (Desirable if Mechanical)
