Full Time

Salary: £40,000 to £48,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. Additional Benefits: Paid travel time up to £6,000 per annum, bringing the total potential basic remuneration to £46,000 to £54,000 per annum. Summary

NG Bailey Facilities Services are recruiting for an experienced Mobile Contracts Supervisor (Electrical) on the prestigious South Eastern Railway Contract.

 

As the Supervisor, you will lead a team of engineers to deliver exceptional service across multiple railway stations in the South-East. Your key responsibilities will include ensuring the highest standards in health and safety, customer service, quality assurance, and statutory compliance. You will also oversee adherence to NG Bailey's systems and procedures to maintain operational excellence. The role requires a Personal Trackside Safety (PTS) qualification, which will be provided through comprehensive training. This position offers an exciting opportunity to take charge of a dynamic team and drive performance in a fast-paced, safety-critical environment.

 

The Contract Supervisor will need to have experience in NICEIC certifications, including Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs), electrical installations, and minor works. Which will ensure compliance with industry standards and the delivery of high-quality electrical services. 

 

Some of the key deliverables in this role will include: 

  • Lead the team in provision of excellent service delivery by monitoring service performance, taking corrective action when necessary and escalating to the Account Manager as appropriate.
  • Undertake risk assessments and safety audits in line with relevant safety legislation and NG Bailey Health and Safety systems and procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory regulations across all technical areas of expertise by completion of internal audits and involvement in external audits to support and develop an ethos of Continuous Improvement. In conjunction with the Account Manager monitor client statutory compliance tracker to ensure continued compliance.
  • Develop relationships with customers to be able to identify additional work opportunities, escalating to the Account Manager as appropriate.
  • Management of Subcontractor works ensuring compliance with NG Bailey procurement processes & client procedures.
  • Monitor completion of PPM, reactive and quoted work through utilisation of CAFM system and client management systems.
  • Liaise with the NG Bailey Service Centre as appropriate to ensure efficient and effective use of Engineers to achieve completion of works within the required SLA’s/KPI’s.
  • Contribute to the effective planning, set up, mobilisation and operation of contracts/additional sites in accordance with NG Bailey systems and procedures.
  • Complete toolbox talks and routine monthly meetings with all Engineers in team as prescribed by the SHEQ department.
  • Produce quotes for any small works required on site. Deal with tender returns for small to medium sized project works.
  • Complete monthly performance reports in co-operation with Account Manager.

  

Working hours: 

Working hours are 40 hours per week - Monday to Friday with a call-out rota of 1 in 5 weeks

 

What we’re looking for:

An experienced Electrical Contracts Supervisor working to a high standard of building services provision (planned and reactive) with the utmost regard for customer service.

 

You will hold current qualifications to work as a Electrical Contracts Supervisor including.

  • Completed a recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred not Essential)
  • City and Guilds 236 Parts 1&2 OR equivalent
  • City and Guilds 2382 18th Edition
  • City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection and Testing (Essential)
  • Personal Track Safety - PTS (Desirable not Essential)
  • IOSH Working / Managing Safely (Desirable)
  • Safe system of Work Procedure – PTW; RAMS etc (Desirable)
  • L8 Training (Desirable)
  • Driving Licence
