Project Controls Engineer/Analyst

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Project Controls Engineer/Analyst to join us on the MEH Alliance, working on the Hinkley Point C construction project.

Accountabilities: 

  • Collating progress data from multiple teams to update the programme.
  • Challenging site reported activity, labour booking and progress recorded.
  • Ensure progress system is properly populated with programme scope to accurately record tasks carried out
  • Supporting Project Controls Management with various reports & dashboard, governance & assurance of project control processes.
  • Have working knowledge of EVM.
  • Preparing Weekly & monthly reports for Senior Leadership Team presentation.
  • Able to prepare bespoke reports using Power BI
  • Demonstrate understanding of Project Controls concepts

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a Project Planning/Controls role on a major construction project
  • Experience within the Nuclear, Oil & Gas or other highly regulated industry would be beneficial.
  • HNC or above in a related discipline
  • Experience with Power BI

NG Bailey on the Hinkley Point C Project

We are working across both Hinkley Point C units to deliver the infrastructure that will power the station and its operations, creating 1,000 jobs including many specialist engineers. Works include the design and installation of circa 76,000 cables totalling over 3,000km in length; over 180km of cable containment support systems; fire and environmental sealing; design and installation of earthing systems, and specialist packages associated with data acquisition and plant control.
