Short description of the main purpose of the role

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Product Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead cross-functional teams to deliver products that meet market needs and drive business growth.

 

 

Core role accountabilities:

  • Product Strategy and Vision:
    • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy aligned with the company's goals and market requirements.
    • Build relationships with stakeholders to identify customer needs, market trends, and understand the competitive landscape.
  • Product Development:
    • Conduct market research to identify customer needs to identify product development needs and solutions.
    • Collaborate with customers, suppliers and internal teams to create detailed product specifications, develop and deliver high-quality products that meet the customer and business needs.
    • Manage the product development process, from concept to launch.
    • Ensure that the product meets quality standards and is delivered on time and within budget.
    • Address and resolve issues that arise during the development process and product lifecycle.
    • Manage the product lifecycle from concept to retirement.
  • Go-to-Market Strategy:
    • Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans with compelling product positioning and messaging.
    • Define product positioning, messaging, pricing and promotional strategies.
    • Ensure successful product launches and ongoing product adoption through training, support, and feedback mechanism.
    • Attend appropriate trade shows & events to support the brands in the marketProvide and update content for website & product catalogue as required.
  • Performance Tracking and Optimisation:
    • Drive continuous improvement through measurement of performance through KPI’s.
    • Utilise market and internal data to drive informed decision making.

 

Any ad hoc duties as required by the Head of Product Management to aid in the running of the department

 

 

Personal attributes:Qualifications, experience, skills, knowledge and competencies required to fulfil the role

 

  • In depth knowledge of Product Management
  • Proven track record of managing all aspects of a successful product ranges throughout their lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Capable of working in a team environment, collaborating with others to meet customers needs whilst achieving targets
  • Computer literate (Excel, Power Point, Word)
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Commercially minded relationship builder
  • Highly motivated, results oriented individual
  • Ability to travel in UK and oversees – hold full UK Driving License
