About the role

The HRIS Analyst will be integral to the successful implementation, configuration, and integration of the Dayforce Human Resources Information System (HRIS).  This position will be responsible for supporting the seamless integration of Dayforce’s HRIS solutions, aligning with business needs and optimizing HR processes. 

 

What You Will Do

  • The Dayforce HRIS Analyst role will own HRIS applications and modules, including maintaining and implementing configurations, ensuring data integrity, and writing reports.
  • Provide day-to-day system support to Global Human Resources and the organization.
  • Provide Tier 1,2 and 3 support – technical assistance and solutions pertaining to HR technology.
  • Prepare end-user documentation, testing, or training materials as needed.
  • Support HR and business priorities by staying up to date with updates and best practices to ensure the system's optimal performance.
  • Serves as a Global resource providing HR systems support, including training, system access, and issue troubleshooting and resolution, and data integrity.
  • HRIS maintenance, including researching and resolving errors, testing, etc.
  • HRIS provides support for dashboards and forms.
  • Ability to create custom and adhoc reports.
  • System support and analysis of time, pay and benefits configuration, including functionality and design review, end to end user testing, and supporting implementation of HR system upgrades or updates.
  • Collaborates with stakeholders to gather and analyze business requirements for the Dayforce implementation; configure modules and functionalities to align with HR processes, including payroll, benefits.
  • Maintains internal database files and tables and develops custom reports to meet the requirements of Human Resource management and stakeholders.
  • Maintains confidentiality of personal information, Company information, records and statistics, and related issues in accordance with all applicable laws and policies. 

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of HRIS experience working on various platforms – Dayforce, Ultipro, Peoplesoft, Workday.
  • High capacity of accuracy and the ability to enter or review data quickly.
  • Ability to handle diverse and confidential information requiring extreme accuracy, and discretion.
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality while working with HR records.
  • Dayforce Ceridian Experience with is required.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, including advanced experience in Microsoft Excel.
  • Good communication skills with the ability to respond to inquiries concisely.
  • Ability to collaborate in a team environment with a commitment to the overall success of the organization.
  • Strong work ethic and high-level of integrity needed for working with confidential information.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Proven experience in HRIS implementation, configuration, and integrations, preferably with Ceridian an asset.
  • Strong technical proficiency, including familiarity with HRIS systems, databases, APIs, and PowerBI.
  • Human Resources or Payroll practitioner experience an asset, but not required.
