About the Role

The Senior Manager Financial Operations Implementations will take a prominent role as part of the Global Senior Management team, working closely with Sales, HR, Client Services, and Implementations to ensure the continued smooth operation of Magnit’s existing functions, and facilitate our ongoing global expansion. This role is broad in terms of finance and tax on a dynamic global scale, with a focus especially on UK, Ireland, and India.  This role is client facing and therefore strong communication/presentation skills are essential for not only explaining complicated financial concepts but also for selling Magnit’s recommendations to both internal and external stakeholders. 

This is a high visibility role requiring broad international finance experience with a great understanding of invoicing compliance and complexity on a global scale. Experience within the contingent workforce management marketplace would be an advantage. 

What You Will Do

•    Create and present clear and accurate documents demonstrating the transactional structures with which Magnit can invoice and payroll contingent workers, independent contractors, and suppliers globally – ensuring any solutions consider tax compliance, currency and banking capabilities and logistics.
•    Serve as consultant for internal and external customers for all aspects of Financial Operations chain, including invoicing, accruals, and miscellaneous financial deliverables
•    Drive discussions with internal/external teams to develop solutions for existing client accounting deliverables (incoming time feeds, outgoing AP uploads, Invoice format, accruals, etc.), with a focus on operational efficiency
•    Provide leadership and management over at least two direct reports in similar space supporting Global Financial Operations
•    Advise on international transactions and related regulatory requirements for global tax, self-invoicing, and related financial compliance areas. 
•    Produce Bill Rate Calculators for different employment scenarios, jurisdictions and accounts, incorporating all cost elements including statutory burdens and currency calculations (where required).
•    Maintain current knowledge on costs and pricing, providing guidance and worked examples where necessary.
•    Provide input and where applicable conduct research to support internal HR, Legal and Finance teams around new entity set up and optimal operating structures.
•    Provide guidance and recommendations to Project Managers and Client Services on initial configuration and best practices as they relate to invoicing, accruals, time capture, cost allocation, approvals, and reporting
•    Support the Executive Leadership Team where required.

What You Will Need

•    Extensive experience working in accounting, with exposure to invoicing/accounts receivable; accounts payable/purchasing and payroll. 
•    Clear and professional communication of complex concepts to internal and external audiences.
•    International accounting experience.
•    Detail orientated with a focus on producing workable solutions.
