About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst with advanced SQL experience to join our dynamic team. As a Data Analyst, you will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to drive business insights and support data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in SQL, database management, and data manipulation techniques, along with a passion for uncovering meaningful patterns and trends.

 

What You Will Do

  • Contributing to data modeling across various services in the data platform.
  • Assist Architecture team to create data model.
  • Carry out Data profiling to understand the data and find out linkage between each data elements.
  • Create Source to Target Mapping document.
  • Understand business definitions of columns and create SQL query as per requirements.
  • Work with management to prioritize business and information needs.
  • Carrying out periodic quality checks.
  • Understand high-level database architectures and work with other data analysts and DBA to ensure reporting logics are consistent with proper information on platform.
  • locate, troubleshoot, and resolve data gaps/issues.
  • Contribute to the evolving offerings of the Data Service
  • Provide support in troubleshooting data-related issues and collaborate with technical teams for data integration and system enhancements.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in data analysis techniques.
  • Deep dive into data trends to identify root causes and improvement opportunities.
  • Identify and implement streamlined processes for data reporting, dashboarding and communication.

 

What You Will Need

  • 4+ years of experience in data field.
  • Education – B-Tech or any postgraduate.
  • An expert level SQL knowledge is must.
  • Hands on with data warehousing, data mart and SQL data analysis
  • Knowledge on Jira
  • MS Office skills
  • Excellent Communication and writing skills.
  • Proficiency using distributed source control (such as Git)
  • Experience working in an Agile methodology.
  • Analytical & Problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Must be self-motivated to learn and work.
  • Knowledge of cloud-based data platforms is good to have.
  • Knowledge of data analysis, statistics, and visualization tools such as Python, R, Sigma, or MicroStrategy is good to have.

Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle, or PostgreSQL is good to have.
