Opportunity at a Glance

The Relationship Manager (RM) serves as the primary point of contact for an assigned portfolio of high-value or Tier 1 ACAMS clients in the Financial Crimes industry. The RM is responsible for maximizing revenue through cross-selling and upselling opportunities within their portfolio. They develop and execute strategic account plans while managing overall client relationships. As the principal advocate for the client within ACAMS, the RM focuses on creating, expanding, retaining, and elevating client relationships.

In this role, the RM ensures seamless coordination within ACAMS and, when appropriate, facilitates collaboration between key stakeholders within the client's organization. The RM is accountable for meeting or exceeding revenue and attachment rate targets.

Responsibilities

· Develops comprehensive Account Strategies that drive revenue protection and growth for each named client within their portfolio.

· Responsible for orchestrating the deployment of corporate-wide resources to meet each Account Strategy.

· Uses tools, processes, and disciplines to drive the client’s buying process to create solutions that meet business needs of the client.

· Manages the overall client relationship and serves as the primary advocate for the client within ACAMS, while actively identifying and pursuing cross-selling and upselling opportunities to maximize client value.

· Fosters, deepens, and elevates strategic relationships between ACAMS and the client, with a focus on driving growth, ensuring retention, and building senior level relationships.

· 25-40% domestic and international travel required / permanently reside in one of the following locations: DC, FL, IL, CT, GA, IA, MA, MD, MI, NC, NJ, NY, OH, PA, VA, WI and TX 

· Completes other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

· Bachelor’s degree required.

· Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing Tier 1 clients across the financial service industry.

· Deep understanding of financial services, including market trends, regulatory environment, and competitive landscape.

· Demonstrated success in business development roles, particularly with high-value or Tier 1 clients, showcasing the ability to generate substantial revenue and manage Enterprise relationships.

· Proficiency in building and maintaining relationships with senior executives, presenting compelling value propositions, and negotiating effectively.

· Demonstrated ability to convert white space into revenue by bringing insight to the client, developing opportunities, closing deals and achieving sales quotas.

· Strong written and verbal communication skills.

· Proficiency with Salesforce CRM required.

· Proficient computer skills using Microsoft Office suite including Word, Excel, Outlook and Windows based programs required.

· Personal goal setting and time management.

· Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving industry, adjusting strategies as needed to meet client and market demands.
