We are seeking to hire an Analytical Scientist I/II to join our R&D Analytical Sciences team

JOB SUMMARY

The will support the development and validation of analytical methods for raw materials, work-in-process, and finished products and to provide testing support for the formulation development and clinical supplies release process. The Scientist II will also be expected to provide some training, coaching, and mentoring for more junior scientists. This position reports to the Manager, Analytical Sciences, R&D.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND LEARNING OPPORTUNITIES

  • Provide support for the development and validation of pharmaceutical analytical methods for potency, dissolution, impurities/degradation products, residual solvents using appropriate laboratory instrumentation e.g. HPLC, UHPLC, LC-MS, Dissolution Apparatus, GC
  • Provide support for the formulation development activities, including testing of development samples, clinical samples, and stability samples.
  • Effectively communicate with cross functional teams like Formulation Development, Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Compliance and Regulatory Affairs
  • Attend SOP, Safety and scientific trainings to remain current with cGMP regulations, and safety standards
  • Follow relevant Adare SOP’s and FDA/ICH guidance
  • Other duties as assigned

 

REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

  • Scientist I: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related discipline with 0-1 years’ experience, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry with 3+ years of experience
  • Scientist II: Master’s Degree in Chemistry or related discipline and 2+ years of relevant pharmaceutical laboratory experience or a B.S Degree with 5+ years of relevant pharmaceutical laboratory experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal written and oral communication skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
  • Ability to coordinate, contribute to and work within a cross-functional team.
