Purpose of the job

As Account Executive you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of client campaigns, ensuring full understanding of the requirements of the brief in order to deliver innovative solutions to drive the campaigns and projects forward.

 

This is the ideal opportunity for you if you are excellent at building great relationships both internally and with clients, are a skilled problem solver and have some experience within either a creative or marketing agency. 

 

Key responsibilities 

  • Day-to-day client account support providing hands on assistance in the implementation of client campaigns, liaising regularly with clients to ensure that communication flows effectively
  • Attending briefing and status calls to keep up to date of client requirements. 
  • Support pitch proposals and delivery and participate in client workshops.
  • Maintaining regular and effective communication with account team.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with all internal departments to enable excellence in client delivery.
  • Proactively following up on all quotations sent to the client.
  • Supporting any scope of work changes and informing the account team of any cost implications before proceeding.
  • Reviewing projects, after completion, with the in-house team and suppliers.
  • Working to ensure that the client has confidence the project will meet or exceed their expectations.
  • Confidently suggesting ways to add value and new solutions.
  • Meeting preparations and contact reports.
  • Have a good understanding of the client brand guidelines.
  • Solving problems and offering alternative solutions.
  • Review projects after completion with the in-house team and suppliers.
  • Administration support to the client engagement team.
  • To be an ambassador for the business.
  • Understanding that the client’s success is our success.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Passionate about branding, marketing + brand comms and developing the best campaigns.
  • Preferably some marketing or creative agency experience, and ideally some knowledge of FMCG and the retail channel.
  • Preferably some client-facing/focussed experience with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Hands-on, team player with a positive proactive approach with a determination to achieve excellence.
  • A proactive, positive personality with a genuine enjoyment of client contact and teamwork.
  • Quality conscious with excellent attention to detail.
  • Microsoft office proficient.
  • Excellent ability to process information and deliver under pressure.
  • Time management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work in an energetic, fast-moving environment with the ability to meet/exceed timelines.
  • Willingness to continuously improve through self-development.
