Position Title:  Global Sr Manager, IT Infrastructure  (Hybrid in greater Minneapolis area)

A Day in the Life

 

This key leadership role, reporting to the Vice President, Global IT manages global IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and End User Services.  As part of a start-up, you will have a unique opportunity to recommend and influence solutions for the business, use your creativity and passion to drive outcomes across the organization, set direction, implement new technologies and lead the transition of IT technologies to our newly independent organization. 

 

Responsibilities include recommending, selecting and implementing IT infrastructure, partnering on IT roadmaps, managing vendors and teams, and ensuring compliance with policies and regulations. The role oversees IT systems design, implementation, and optimization, protecting company data and ensuring uninterrupted services. Strong leadership and technical expertise in infrastructure and cloud architecture are essential. Candidate will manage a small team today, and will build a global team to support IT services for Mozarc as we progress our transition services plan. 

 

Responsibilities

 

  • Provide leadership in selecting and implementing IT Infrastructure, End User, and Cloud Services.
  • Provide leadership in implementing IT management practices for Incident, Service, Problem, Service Configuration, and Infrastructure and Platform management.
  • Partner with IT leadership to establish and manage the overall IT roadmap, projects, and teams.
  • Manage vendors and internal team to Service Level Agreements to meet and exceed our business expectations.
  • Manage vendors and IT team to comply with IT policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Provides leadership for those involved in the design, implementation and optimization of one or more information technology and systems functions supporting company business processes and technical information systems platforms.
  • Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, analysis, selection and modification of enterprise systems, application software, installation of network hardware/software and database management.
  • Provides direction for the effort required to protect the company's data, tools and information systems.
  • Ensures infrastructure architecture standards maximize efficiency and support platform compatibility.
  • Usually requires subject matter knowledge of user group for practical application of system characteristics.
  • Coordinates delivery of services to user groups and ensures IT service is uninterrupted.
  • Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

 

Must Have

 

  • Requires a Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 7 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience.

 

Nice to Have

 

  • Previous IT leadership within a regulated medical device company
  • Experience standing up IT Infrastructure, Cloud, and End User Services solutions, ITIL-based services, and IT teams for an SMB global company.
  • Experience with IT technologies like Microsoft 365, Azure, SD-WAN, and FreshService tailored to a cloud-based architecture.
  • Experience managing project and functional budgets.
  • Cloud first and agile mindset.
  • Excellent leadership, prioritization, and organizational skills.
  • Sound knowledge of IT systems, specifications, networks, and computer systems.
  • Problem-solving skills and an analytical mindset.
  • Ability to communicate with tech-savvy and non-technical staff.
  • Strong vendor management capabilities
