POSITION TITLE: Director, Sales 

LOCATION: Remote US

 

This position reports to our global HQ in Cambridge, MA and is fully remote within the US. Travel is expected domestically and internationally when needed.

Who we are looking for:   

TriNetX’s Sales team is a critical part of our commercial team and is focused on driving new business, growth and expansion of TriNetX, while also delivering to our customer base and supporting the relationships over time. This role be on the front lines with our customers with a high degree of exposure both within TriNetX and across our customers. This role requires a dynamic sales professional with a deep understanding of the life sciences industry and Real-World Data (RWD). This individual will bring exceptional relationship-building skills, and a strategic mindset to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. 

We are looking for an experienced and successful sales professional for the large pharma and CRO segment within Life Sciences. This role is the sales ownership within our Pharma/CRO members. 

 

What you will be doing:  

  • Sales and Revenue Growth with current customers and new customers 
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, while maintaining high visibility within accounts 
  • Development, negotiation and lead the contracting process and managing all sales opportunities as the sales owner 
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of key customer needs and requirements. Develops and follows through on detailed sales strategies to maximize account development 
  • Expand the relationships with existing customers by continuously identifying new areas for expansion 
  • Champion the customer at all levels internally 
  • Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal teams 
  • Build and maintain strong internal relationships across various teams 

 

What you bring to TriNetX 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Healthcare, Life Sciences, or a related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred. 
  • 5-7+ years of experience in business development, account management, strategic partnerships or related roles, with a focus on the healthcare or life sciences industry. 
  • Strong understanding of the healthcare and life sciences industries, including key players, market dynamics, and regulatory considerations. 
  • Proven track record of meeting sales targets, developing and managing successful customer relationships/partnerships that drive business growth. 
  • Strong business acumen, oral and written communications skills, and the ability to successfully interface and build relationships at all levels in the organization 
  • Ability to think strategically and translate strategies into actionable plans. 
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high degree of autonomy. 
  • Willingness to travel as needed
