Purpose of the job

 

The Global Order Window Manager will work alongside the operational teams and client facing teams to ensure optimised Global Order Window management solutions are developed and delivered on time and against operational and financial business targets.

 

Key responsibilities

 

  • Build the Global Order Window management strategy
  • Define Standard Operating Procedures with the suppliers, the operational teams (incl production, quality & logistics) and the client facing teams to implement the GOW management strategy
  • Ensure adherence of all Stakeholders to the SOPs and GOW management strategy
  • Maintain an excellent standard of communication to manage and develop relationships with the key client facing teams and key suppliers
  • Co-ordinate Global Order Window management with the operational teams (incl production, quality & logistics) and client facing teams
  • Deliver operational excellence, achieving and excelling on deliverables

 

 

Knowledge, Skills + Experience

  • Strong leader who can focus on the vision and strategy while managing the tactical components of running the daily business
  • Balance daily support needs with long-term strategy and successfully combine vision and reality into effective plans
  • The perfect candidate will have solid Project Management expertise and production management experience within the FMCG sector
  • Sound understanding of Branded Merchandise and the promotional items industry is a must
  • The perfect candidate will have a proven track record for delivering best-in-class solutions and nurturing relationships and for building credible customer relationships at senior level
  • Confident ‘self-starter’ with strong presentation skills, ability to present convincingly to a senior audience
  • Deliver excellent service to client with a professional 'can do' attitude at all times
  • Exceptional communication, problem solving and cross-group collaboration skills
  • Strong negotiation and consensus building skills when dealing with internal customers, stakeholders and team members
  • Works collaboratively with others in pursuit of team goals
  • Excellent analysis and critical thinking skills
  • Strategic brain and the ability to question the norm and look outside the box. Takes a flexible approach to work and encourages others to do so
  • Ability to provide technical input and advice on projects as required to achieve high quality standards
  • Identifies opportunities for continuous improvement
  • Ability to understand current & changing business strategy and participate in delivering it
  • Ability to identify operational & business issues and develop risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to deal with the ambiguity associated with working in a fast paced and changing environment
  • Proficient in English. Mandarin is a plus
