Position Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

A Day in the Life

You will be an individual contributor with responsibility in our technical functions to advance existing technology or introduce new technology and therapies.

you will deliver projects assigned and work with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. The majority of time is spent delivering R&D, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies – from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills. 

Responsibilities: 

• Researches, plans, designs, verifies, validates and develops mechanical and/or electromechanical products and systems, such as metals, instruments, controls, plastics, robots, engines, machines and mechanical, resonance, hydraulic or heat transfer systems for production, transmission, measurement, and use of energy.
• Recommends various technology options or approaches for system, processes, facility or program improvements in terms of safety, performance, efficiency or costs.
• May be responsible for the transfer from R&D to manufacturing.

Must Have:

• 4 years of experience in industrial mechanical design. 
• Master Degree in Mechanical Engineering (PhD is a plus). 
• Deep knowledge in mechanical design.
• Deep knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic technologies (applied to biomedical devices is a plus).
• Deep knowledge of the 3D modeling (PTC Creo).
• Knowledge of PLM systems (PTC Windchill).
• Knowledge of international standards (applied to biomedical devices).
• Knowledge of data analysis (Matlab)
• Knowledge of English (min B2 level)
• Knowledge of plastic materials and related production technologies

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of NVH analysis (applied to biomedical devices is a plus).
• Knowledge of mechanical simulations (FEA ANSYS) is a plus.
• Knowledge Software for 3D printer 
• Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint), Microsoft Project
• Software: SAP, SVN;
• Knowledge of R&D documentation
• Design Control and Design Transfer
