Purpose of the Job

As a Retail Partner Marketing Merchandising Manager supporting our client’s telecommunications sector, you’ll manage key projects for Brand and OEM partners to help increase subscriber acquisitions. You will execute on growth plans, working closely with multiple cross-functional stakeholders and teams.

You will be responsible for developing joint partner marketing programs, including go-to-market and launch plans for specific allocated partners. You will brief and project manage multi-channel marketing campaigns, including device launches, that are driven by consumer insights and business impact.

This role will be both internal and external facing and requires strong relationship and project management, communication, and organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Kick off and manage execution of partner marketing programs, including device promotions and new launches.

  • Identify, measure, track and report on key success metrics to ensure alignment to product and business goals. 

  • Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, such as Business Development, Operations, Product, Brand, Social, Direct Response, Web and CRM to bring integrated marketing campaigns to life.

  • Act as the owner and key point of contact for internal and external stakeholders on assigned projects and deliverables. 

  • Act as partner brand manager, reviewing partner creative that includes our client’s branding and providing partners with brand/creative assets for partner-led campaigns. 

  • Manage creative asset development by writing briefs, hitting key approval milestones and ensuring deliverables are finalized within set timelines.

  • Maintain internal partner marketing hub and other content management systems, ensuring content is kept up to date.

Knowledge, Skills + Experience 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 4+ years in partner or brand marketing, preferably with experience in the Telecom category and/or at a media agency.

  • Demonstrated thought-leadership and relationship building / management with internal stakeholders and external partners/agencies.

  • Experience managing integrated marketing campaigns with the ability to work in the minutiae of execution while keeping in mind broader strategy/goals. 

  • Experience managing complex projects, problem solving and proactively navigating ambiguity.

  • Experience creating and managing Google Docs, Slides and Sheets for all projects.

  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality

  • Self-motivated, flexible, and adaptable to an ever changing fast-paced environment
