PURPOSE OF JOB:

(OVERALL DESCRIPTION OF THE POST WITHIN THE TEAM AND ORGANISATION)

We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Trainer to join our team.  The Systems Trainer will be responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training programs to our employees ensuring they have an in-depth understanding of our company’s systems, software, and processes.

Initially working in the Business Transformation team in the project team for new systems being implemented, the role will transition to the Learning & Development team once the project phase for these is over, and they move to business as usual.

The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of creating and delivering training for systems and processes, excellent communication skills.

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Training Programme Development

  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to identify training needs and goals.
  • Design and develop training material, including manuals, presentations, e-Learning modules, and other resources.
  • Create training materials tailored to different skill levels and learning styles.

Training Delivery

  • Conduct training sessions in various formats, such as in-person, webinars, and virtual training.
  • Ensure training sessions are engaging and interactive.
  • Adapt training delivery to address the needs and skill levels of the delegates.
  • Use MyBytesHub to present e-Learning to staff for free navigation.

Systems Expertise

  • Maintain an up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of the company’s systems, software, and processes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices and technological advancements to enhance training content.

Evaluation & Feedback

  • Assess the effectiveness of training materials through feedback and evaluations.
  • Continuously improve training materials and methods based on feedback and changing requirements.

Induction & Support

  • Assist in the induction process to new employees, helping them become proficient in using Company systems.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to all staff to reinforce learning.

INDIVIDUAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Hosting drop-in sessions, floor walking and offering one to one training where required.
  • Working with Product owners to understand systems roadmaps.
  • Assist in the creation of competency tests for new starters to assess levels of knowledge.
  • Promoting awareness of new features, benefits, and changes to processes in existing systems.

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Excellent written and verbal language skills essential.
  • English Grammar & Language, Maths and a Social Science qualification.

  • At least 3 years of experience working at Bytes and a good understanding of our operational systems.

  • Expert knowledge in Word, Excel, and Outlook. Strong PowerPoint   o ther Office Tools advantageous.
