R2R Accountant

Principal Responsibilities

• Deliver accounting processes to ensure all transactions are accounted for in ERP system (NetSuite) completely, accurately and in line with IFRS and GAM
• Maintaining the general ledger and chart of accounts including recording all journal entries and accrual, preparing monthly reconciliations, closing and consolidating the books
• Provide and deliver analysis with explanations on financial transactions to internal FinHub stakeholders to aid understanding of financial position by Nature of the activity (payroll, COGS, etc).
• Delivery of accounting for the assign accounting area and ensure robust controls are in place and controls operated in line with agreed RAMCs
• Ensure all transactions are recorded at the right FX rates.
• Ensure all transactions are supported with adequate evidence to satisfy internal and external audit queries and balance sheet items are fully reconciled, ageing understood and loaded into Blackline.
• Ensure all transactions are accounted for in the right legal entity and work closely with Head of External reporting in Group finance to support local GAAP financial statement preparation and audit.

Skills and knowledge

• Professionally qualified or part-qualified accountant with relevant finance experience
• Extensive experience of performing B/S reconciliations
• Extensive experience of process and procedure review, change and implementation.
• Understanding of foreign exchange transactions
• Experience of NetSuite desirable
• Ability to communicate to finance and non-finance stakeholders

Experience

• 1-3 years’ experience in a similar role in an international environment.
• Background in accounting (through prior work experience and/or relevant business degree)
• Experience in a B2B industry and working in a large organization is preferred
• Good knowledge of MS Office products, especially Excel
• Knowledge of NetSuite is considered as advantage.
