Position Overview

 

The owner of Mediakind’s HubSpot platform requires a continued full working knowledge of the system, including ITSM solutions, and all supporting functionality and processes.  It will be necessary to own the relationship with our HubSpot account management team, acting as the liaison between Mediakind and HubSpot.  You will proactively drive and contribute to business decisions that relate to the HubSpot platform, as well as becoming a full subject matter expert in this domain.  This role requires close working relationships and regular check ins with key stakeholders and also drive discussions during recurring internal business meetings relating to the HubSpot platform, feature developments and other key tasks.  Internal collaboration/conversation groups are maintained via Microsoft Teams, it is critical to be the point of contact who can analyze logged issues and provide solutions to the Mediakind user community.  The role requires a positive and engaged partner for HubSpot users, who is dependable and seen as a solution provider that balances IT systems and security requirements with easy to use and streamlined processes. 

Responsibilities & Tasks

 

  • ITSM – manage ticketing flow infrastructure, develop feature enhancements
  • Roles and Permissions – coordinate user groups and teams, standard and custom permissions, roles.  Manage paid for licenses and documentation that supports all system credentials available
  • Control and manage account settings, ensure a thorough understanding of what Mediakind uses, how we use the system, and drive recommendations for improvements going forwards.  Must include all field and property settings, restrictions etc…
  • All the following areas of HubSpot must be known, processes must be understood, including all sub categorised areas of the system that fall under these headers: Workspaces, CRM, Marketing, Content, Commerce, Automations, Reporting, Data Management, Library
  • Reduce system duplication across data, functions, reports.  Review all UI areas of the system and streamline where needed, ensure no redundant and irrelevant components are in display to users
  • Manage regular user group communication for feature updates, system changes, process amendments
  • Collaborate with cross-functional business teams to align data quality policies and governed attributes.  Lead and advise business users on improvements, corrective actions
  • Perform testing activities in Sandbox environment
  • Prepare, maintain, and present documentation, policy and training content
  • Manage account payable status’ across the account to ensure invoices are paid on time
  • Contribute to budgetary discussions for annual expenditure
  • Drive a forward looking roadmap of enhancements, stay current with market adoption and new solutions that can be bought forward for test and review
  • Trigger escalations appropriately and seek approvals for non-standard business practices
  • Identify and resolve issues proactively by engaging across functions at varying levels to seek appropriate solutions
  • Work collaboratively when required with fellow Data team members to complete work

Education

 

  • A bachelor's degree in computer science, computer systems engineering, software engineering, business administration or a related discipline is required.

Experience

 

  • 5+ years of experience in sales operations, sales strategy, or business operations, preferably in a global organization.
  • Hands-on experience with HubSpot administration is required; experience with other CRM or sales enablement platforms (e.g., Salesforce, Outreach) is a plus

Skills

 

  • Good working understanding of HubSpot with acknowledgement that training will be undertaken, via HubSpot academy, as a mandatory requirement
  • Demonstrate effective team relationship skills and partnership activities.
  • Possess an open, positive can-do attitude with good communication and interpersonal skill.
  • Creative / Problem solving approach to work.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, work in team settings, and work independently when required.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to deliver quality work in a timely manner.
  • Understand the interaction between system attributes and business processes.
  • Good English written and verbal communication skills
  • Background in lean / agile approach to process optimisation
  • Knowledge of sales configure price quote applications an advantage
  • Be well organised and able to manage time effectively, work to priorities and deliver on commitments
  • Always be proactive, flexible, easy to deal with and dependable
