Position Overview

 

We are seeking a Market Development Manager to lead our SaaS sales efforts in the Media Technology industry. As a keen prospector with a strong understanding of the industry and a track record of success, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new SaaS opportunities, driving revenue growth, and expanding our customer base.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Prospect and qualify new SaaS sales opportunities in the Media Technology industry
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to meet revenue targets
  • Identify and prioritize key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Build and maintain relationships with potential customers and partners
  • Conduct demos, trials, and proof-of-concepts to showcase our SaaS solutions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activity, and emerging technologies
  • Negotiate and close deals to achieve revenue goals in collaboration with Account Managers

 

Required Skills and Qualifications

 

  • You will have up to 8 years of experience in SaaS sales and market development, preferably in the Media Technology industry
  • Proven track record of success in prospecting and closing new SaaS deals
  • Strong understanding of the Media Technology industry, including trends, challenges, and emerging technologies
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
  • Strong network and relationships within the Media Technology industry
  • Experience with CRM software and sales analytics tools
  • Knowledge of cloud-based technologies and SaaS business models
  • Ability to travel is also a requirement.
